1988 Sea Ray 430 Convertible

Chestertown, Maryland

$99,800

Marketed as a serious fishing boat, the Sea Ray 430 Convertible is a scaled-down version of Sea Ray's equally unimpressive 460 Convertible, built-in 1988. A well-styled boat by the standards of her day with rakish lines and an aggressive profile. She was built on a solid fiberglass hull with prop pockets, moderate transom deadrise, and a generous 14-foot beam. With her Euro-style interior (lots of curves, pastel fabrics, and plastic laminates), the 430 is more a family cruiser than a fish boat. Her two-stateroom floorplan includes a wet bar and U-shaped dinette in the salon, a large master stateroom forward with a built-in vanity, and a guest cabin with upper/lower bunks. The galley is down in this layout, and earth-tone fabrics and wall coverings decorate the interior. The cockpit, with direct access to an engine room, is large enough for a mounted chair. Additional features include a transom door, a removable in-deck fish box, a cockpit shower, and a swim platform. The 2006 Cummins 480 6 Cat diesels and ZF 280 Transmissions & Gears cruise at 29 knots and reach a top speed of 32 knots.2 - Propellar Shafts
