Formula got it right in 1991 by introducing the 34 PC, a strong-selling boat during her decade-long production run and a boat with an enduring appeal on the used market today. Like all of Formula's PC (Performance Cruiser) designs, she's built on a constant 18-degree deadrise deep-V hull with a moderate 12'0" beam and solid fiberglass construction. The mid-cabin interior will sleep six, with an island berth in the forward stateroom and convertible facing settees in the aft cabin. Both staterooms have privacy curtains and a bi-fold door in the head isolates the shower from the vanity. On deck, a triple-wide companion seat is opposite the helm, and the entire aft section of the cockpit can be turned into a giant sunken sun pad. Additional features include well-secured side decks, a molded bow pulpit, a transom shower, a foredeck sun pad, and a cockpit wet bar. A good performer, twin 310hp MerCruiser sterndrives cruise the 34 PC at 23-24 knots and reach a top speed in the mid-30s.
